My Students

Our students are in first grade, both in general and special education, and they love to learn! They come to school each and every day looking forward to exploring the world around them with their teachers and peers.

Our class is a diverse group of children from all over the world.

We spend our days reading, writing, and doing math. In addition, we work together to create a friendly community in our classroom and around the school. We love to be in school!

My Project

Recent events have caused us to change from traditional in-class methods to distance learning. Unfortunately, new types of classroom tools like document cameras are needed. A document camera will allow me to display a math worksheet, morning message, or a graphic organizer and have my students follow along as we complete it together. A document camera is one of the simplest and most useful teacher tools available.

Distance learning has created a need for teachers to get creative when reading to students.

I want to use the document camera to display storybooks. I hope to share my screen so that everyone can see the illustrations.
