Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Working in a low income city makes virtual teaching a challenge seeing as many students don’t have the resources necessary for distance learning to take place effectively. Currently I am recording videos of lessons and sending them to parents and/or posting on YouTube for students to watch at their own time.

My Project

With a document camera I will be able to display work that is being done in a book or on paper. It would allow me to show students how to do certain things without the hassle of holding up a white board, marker, and other manipulatives. This document camera would be fantastic during virtual math lessons and read alouds. The rolling laptop & storage cart would be the perfect place to house the document camera to utilize to its fullest extent. It would allow for me do the work on and place the document camera on top of perfectly. This rolling laptop cart also included storage for the technology once it’s done being used. With these materials lessons can be more engaging for students and distant learning can be more effective!
