My Project

We are requesting a full classroom set of ukuleles to bring instrumental music directly into the hands of our students! One instrument per child would be ideal.

Being able to play ukulele will give students an outlet for creativity, emotional well-being, and the responsibility of caring for an instrument.

It will give students an area to shine in through the universal language of music.

My students come from varied backgrounds, with over 20 languages being spoken in our school. Many of our students are immigrants from Ukraine, and children of the migrant population being taken in in our city.
