My Students

My students are rockstars inside and outside of the classroom. They dream it and they achieve it! Each day, I am inspired by their individual spirits; they make me want to be the best teacher that I can be each day. I teach learners, dreamers, competitors, exceptional athletes, aspiring journalists, fashionistas, and artists. The future of our world is in my classroom. How lucky am I to be able to foster positive human relationships and learning every single day? What could be more fun? These kids are as special as kids come!

My Project

We have the opportunity to use computer labs to extend learning once a week. We currently do not have access to any headphones, and there are so many amazing programs that integrate audio with visual practice. Moreover, next school year, we are moving to a one-to-one learning environment.

Having a class set of headphones would allow my students to maximize their learning.

The site my students' enjoy the most is vocabulary.com. They love listening to their vocab words and learning how to spell them. As a teacher, this becomes difficult when 30 different computers says different words out loud all at once. Having headphones would change my students' learning experience and allow them to use programs such as vocabulary.com in the best possible way.
