My Students

My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with 99% free lunch. Students come to school thinking about home life and have trouble staying focused on their school work.

My students have experienced trauma and it takes just the right teacher to teach them.

They have been through so much is the short eight years they have been alive. They deserve the best and I believe with your help they will receive the best. My students have big hearts that want to grow and I want to be a part of that process with the right materials.

My Project

21st-century teaching involves the 21st-century technology such as laptops and tablets. But without headphones students are unable to hear their laptops because they hear what everyone else is doing. The headphones will allow the students to hear all the online teaching tools that we use. The magnetic twist ties will keep the cords from getting tangled. The magnetic hooks will hang in the lockers so that students are able to keep up with their own headphones.

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will actually be able to learn and hear what is going on on the computer.

The headphones are very essential for technology. Students will use the headphones during stations as they get on laptops and tablets.
