My Project

Using the models purchased, I am going to show students where DNA is located (in the cell). I will also show examples of DNA structure, and molecular make up. We will understand the basic compositions of the nucleotides and base pairs. We will also sketch representations of DNA functions (protein synthesis).

The cell models will introduce DNA location.

The DNA models will orientate the students to the double helix shape. The molecular models will demonstrate the nucleotide connections.

The white boards will be utilized to sketch representations of DNA as well as help conceptualize DNA functions. White boards will be used to emphasize key vocabulary and make comprehension checks.
