This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help by donating supplies for my occupational therapy students so they can make their own slime kits.

This will provide them with the sensory input they need to self-regulate in the classroom, de-stress, reduce anxiety as well as work on hand strengthening needed for improved handwriting skills.

In the slime kits, we will use slime activators together with various manipulatives such as the Elmer's Glow in the Dark Liquid Glue and tongue depressors, which will provide a wide range of exposure to different tactile stimuli. We are also asking for containers so that the student can take the slime home with them. My students will be so excited to participate in this project and will be able to use it outside therapy sessions as well.
