This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A donation of the math resources and other supporting materials will make a huge difference in the lives of my students. I love to create vocabulary cards for each concept so that my students can relate to the mathematical terms. Therefore, laminating them will definitely extend their frequent use and life. These materials will be used to create materials for my Math, Vocabulary and Fluency centers. They will also be used on my Math Vocabulary wall, Math Stem Wall, and Number Wall.

My goal is for them to use the resources interactively in order to gain fluency in solving problems.

Math manipulatives are such a rich resource and are very impacting on my students who require small group or individual instruction. I will model the task after which my students will work both in groups and independently.
