Diving Into Hispanic Heritage

Help me give my students books about Selena to see the influence she had on the Hispanic community along with the whiteboards to showcase their knowledge of that culture.

My Project

My project is all about cultural awareness and the impact this will have on our local community as a teacher.

South Florida is a melting pot in which all cultures are amalgamated, making our community or this diaspora rich in all aspects of culture.

Reading a book about one member of the Hispanic community who died tragically but left an impact on the Hispanic community and even those outside that community will be an incredible and informative start to spread her legacy including how she grew up as a singer in that community.

Hopefully, I will be awarded those books as an ESOL teacher to those students who need to enhance their reading power and cultural awareness. Thank you donors for your awesome work.
