My Students

My students range from low to high socioeconomic status. We are considered a TITLE 1 school. This means that our poverty level is high. Our students receive free lunch and breakfast. My students are eager to learn. Their socioeconomic status makes them strive to be successful in life. They deserve the opportunity to have the best education possible.

I recently received 1-inch binders for my students.

I am asking for 12 more 1-inch binders, for new students, and dividers to help students chart their growth and organize their work. Thank you for taking the time to view our project.

My Project

By keeping an organized binder, students will be able to chart their growth and understand obstacles. Students will maintain daily records to own their learning. Students keep up with data from computer learning, reading summaries, and small groups. This will allow them to analyze their strengths and weaknesses.

Students will learn to self-assess and adjust learning goals.

This also allows for proof of work when conferencing with teacher. Students need maintain sections for progress monitoring, independent reading logs, weekly student application logs, handouts from small groups, and conference meetings with teacher.

Maintaining these organized binders, students are held accountable for their learning.
