My Project

Creating a space with less distractions as well as individualized learning stations is crucial for my students with autism. A classroom divider will help my students focus on the material they are learning. This will allow them to concentrate better on what is in front of them instead of what is going on around them.

Dividers help reduce classroom noise and create an environment that encourages and allows students to thrive as we can focus on their individual needs.

Students will be able to focus on their work in that area, and each center or activity will be visually divided and defined. This will provide predictability and ease any anxiety over transitions. Students will know what is expected of them in that area and what they are to do in that particular space.
