Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a Title I school where most of the students come from low-income households. I lack so many new and exciting resources, supplies, and materials needed to spark the interest of my students.

Nonetheless, these babies (my nickname for my students) are so eager to learn and come to school each day with smiles and hugs.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will assist with inclusion and diversity in the classroom.

When my students feel love and included, their willingness to connect with me goes beyond just learning a new skill, we build relationships that are carried on from year to year.

The new books will allow for all students to have a sense of belonging in the classroom.

Also, these materials will also assist me in teaching the writing process, from letter formation to sentences to small paragraphs. Student will also be able to express their creativity, uniqueness, and collaborate with one another through play with the magnet tiles.
