This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are diverse in many beautiful ways, however, I need a library that reaches them! I would love books that can give them inspiration, imagination, and diversity. Reading is such an essential part of life, but what makes it great is when a reader can connect with a book. I would love my students to be able to pick up a book from our classroom library that connects to them and sparks their love for reading. Having diverse books in our library will not only give more literary diversity but become a place where students can go to find books that connect to them!
