Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will grant my students the opportunity to learn new ways to peacefully stand up for their rights in a respectful, yet firm way. As we learn about government and how our country was founded, students are learning how laws are made and change is processed. These books will show students some effective examples and the steps taken to provoke change in communities both small and large. My students deserve to have their voice heard just like any other citizen of our country, the key is to know how to do that as a positive contributor to society.
