My Students

My students are all unique in their own way. They all have IEP's or 504's and they work harder than a lot of the other students I see through out my day. Covid has given them even more challenges and I strive each day to find new ways to keep them engaged in learning whether it is in person or virtually. They get so excited when I introduce new games to use as review. I recently used quizizz for a science review and they were so excited for something new!! I would love to be able to provide them with more. Two screens would be amazing, but every little bit helps. I gladly pay for a lot of these programs out of my own pocket, but as I said any help I receive to provide my kiddos with things that get them excited about learning would be much appreciated! Thank you.

My Project

My students need to read and learn about diversity and social justice. These books would be used in class and also used for the kids who are at home.

The fact that one of the books has been edited makes it a great way to incorporate differentiation.

The books will reach a number of student levels. If a student is at home we will read the book together or it will be taped for students to listen at their own pace. This is a tough topic that needs to be taught and books like these will be so helpful! Thank you.
