Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 25 excited 4th grade inquirers that are jubilant to embark upon this new learning year. We want to support and nourish their new classroom experience. They enjoy flexible learning options that are provided in the workshop curriculum which require a highly organized environment.

They are caring, gregarious, open minded, balanced, and reflective.

They are eager to begin the new year and thrilled to explore new learning options in the classroom. They possess an inspirational attititude towards learning. Their love of learning is visible every day and very inspirational!

My Project

Last month, with your help we were able to add so many awesome new books with diverse characters to our library. These books sparked awesome conversations and morning meeting discussions around diversity. Our goal is to rotate these diverse books into the leveled library in the classroom and keep new diverse book choices in a rotating new bin each month! Having brand new amazing books can be inspiring and exciting. We really need your help to keep these new books awesome, diverse, interesting, and new! These students absolutely love reading and are constantly looking for great new books to read!
