Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of twenty five, excited, fourth grade inquirers who are jubilant to embark upon this new learning year. We want to support and nourish their new classroom experience. They enjoy flexible learning options that are provided in the workshop curriculum which require a highly organized environment.

My students are caring, gregarious, open minded, balanced, and reflective.

They are eager to begin the new year and thrilled to explore new learning options in the classroom. They possess an inspirational attitude towards learning. Their love of learning is visible everyday and is very inspirational!

My Project

This project aims to bring new diverse books into our classroom! Frequently adding new books to our classroom keeps our reading time exciting and fun. This project will help us to switch out some dated series books and add new diverse series books into our classroom library.

Also, this project will fund sensory tools like squishy pencil grips and PlayDough.

Many students need a sensory break from our busy classroom schedule and these tools will help to meet some of our unique sensory needs.

There are also some fun cooperative games included in this project that students absolutely love getting to enjoy during choice time.

We are so excited to get this project funded to bring new diverse books, carpet squares, and much more into our classroom!
