Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of twenty-five, excited, fourth-grade inquirers who are jubilant to embark upon this new learning year. We want to support and nourish their new classroom experience. They enjoy flexible learning options that are provided in the workshop curriculum which require a highly organized environment.

My students are caring, gregarious, open-minded, balanced, and reflective.

They are eager to begin the new year and thrilled to explore new learning options in the classroom. They possess an inspirational attitude towards learning. Their love of learning is visible every day and is very inspirational!

My Project

One of our favorite parts of our learning day is diving into a new story book! This project was created to add more diverse books to our classroom library. Providing diverse books will allow students the opportunity to connect in a meaningful way to a global community. According to Webster's Dictionary, "the concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect." It means understanding that each individual is unique, and recognizing our individual differences.

This project has a wide variety of classroom essentials like diverse books, classroom plants, Lysol wipes, fun lights, and more.

As we continue into the winter months, we are trying to keep all the germs away so this project will fund more disinfectant wipes for our classroom.
