This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright and curious learners. They are learning about themselves and the world around them. I want my students to see themselves reflected in our books

Diverse books lead to acceptance and understanding.

I want to add more diverse books to our class library in order for my students to see examples of their culture and others. The more exposure to other people the more comfortable students will be around others who are different. My class needs to learn how being different is a positive thing. Please consider donating to our class.
