My Students

I teach in a nice community outside of Savannah, Georgia. The students in my classroom are amazing and energetic learners. They are constantly looking for new and exciting ways to learn second grade content.

From the minute my students walk in my door, I want them to be excited about learning and for them to experience a wonderful day.

By creating a fun and engaging classroom, I hope to inspire and educate my students to continue their paths to an excellent education!

My Project

There is nothing better than a well-stocked library; however, we are missing several important pieces of our classroom library. I want my students to have the opportunity to read diverse books. While our library is developing, it is not there yet.

I want my students to see themselves in the books they read.

Students should be able to read books that show familiar faces and histories. I want my students to read about important people from history. We need quality books that show diversity. I want my students to be inspired by the books that they read in my classroom.
