My Project

Creating an art library that features art related picture books that represents their diverse identities and experiences will not only give my students the opportunity to see themselves reflected in the stories they read but also inspire them to became artists, creators and thinkers. This new library will help me introduce my students to powerful stories of artists like Alma Thomas and Jacob Lawrence as well as beautiful illustrations. Help me to provide books that will ignite their imaginations and foster a deep appreciation for both visual art and reading!
