My Students

This year, I will be working with brilliant young minds in first grade. Majority of the students are English Language Learners from diverse backgrounds and surely, they have a thirst for learning.

I have a room full of curious learners.

They are explorers, creative thinkers, and leaders.

My Project

Flexible seating will be used for creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment for my first graders. As we know, this year is going to be very different from the previous school years and students won't have as many opportunities for movement. By providing flexible seating for students, they will feel at ease knowing that they won't have to be restricted to their desk and seats.

The circle spots will be used to create spaces between the students during movement breaks as well as, to teach social distancing in the classroom.

During the school year, students will have ample time to be on their devices. While we are in schools, the easel will allow for interactive participation and will be used for morning messages and teaching topics in large, small, or individual groups.
