Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in the middle of the city, in an industrial district. Our high poverty, Title I school is hidden behind many manufacturing buildings and has very few places for the students to run and play. 100% of the students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch each day.

We are a STEM Magnet School, with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Science.

We are creating an environment that encourages unique learning, creativity, independence, and cooperative learning.

My Project

My students will not be allowed to share supplies for center work. These binders, sheet protectors and pencil pouches will give my students the supplies they need to work independently. They will be able to get their materials easily and have it available at all times of day.

Students will have work that is tailored to their needs to build up their academic skills.

They will work on math and language arts during their independent center time. The page protectors will help save paper, and students will be able to do their favorite activities many times!
