This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My wonderful students love engaging, interactive resources while participating in our Autism Core Curriculum classroom. Yet we’re facing new challenges with school closures and adapting to distance learning. Getting the right resources to reach them is harder. And with everything going on, funds are limited.

I want to do everything I can to ensure they continue to learn and grow for the rest of the year.

My Project

As we continue to learn the ins and outs of distance learning, I've learned that my students not only need engaging lessons but they also need to hear me. The AirPods will help me better understand what my young students are saying and the imbedded microphone will help them hear my instruction, especially my student that requires hearing aids. This will help cancel out unwanted noise.

Your contribution will help ensure that my special education Autism Core Curriculum students will continue to learn and grow during this distance learning adventure!

The AirPods would serve as a tool that I can use during Zoom meetings to go over material easily, and to explain anchor charts during recorded lessons.
