Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a 4th grade teacher in South Brooklyn. We are an ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) classroom of two teachers where our students are either learning disabled or non-disabled and learn together in an inclusive environment.

"Our students are happy, energetic learners."

They deserve to learn and explore our world in the most efficient and effective way through the use of technology. They motivate me to work hard and do my best for them every day. I am passionate about their kind little souls and will go to great lengths to ensure that they are receiving the most equitable education during the pandemic.

My Project

During ELA, Math, Social Studies and Science lessons, the distance learning digital tools I am requesting will enhance every lesson that I teach my 4th graders. I will imbed fun and easy-to-use google slides, PowerPoints and worksheets that students can interact with digitally during their independent work time. Instead of assigning mundane worksheets, students will be provided with creative activities and resources that make the lesson exciting for every learner.

These distance learning digital materials will motivate students to persevere through the entire lesson even when the learning gets challenging because the resources are creative, fun and highly attractive!

During this time, as the world is going through a second wave of the pandemic, more than ever, students need resources that help them stay involved and committed to learning at home. Please help my students stay focused by donating digital resources for remote learning!
