Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am very excited to teach a wonderful group of fifth graders this year. They are kind, they are bright, and they are enthusiastic. They are always eager to learn, and their commitment keeps me motivated. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.

As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools in the district every year. Our mission is to create a vibrant learning community where the minds and hearts of all who enter are nurtured, developed, and respected.

My Project

The materials I have requested are important for me to be able to teach my students virtually. The white board I will use in my office space in front of the computer. I will use that board to teach my students writing, reading, and science concepts and skills. The Easel with the big poster paper will be used to create pre-made teacher anchor charts that the students will help me complete. The USB extender will be needed because I am preparing my teaching area with all the electronic tools I will need to make it comfortable and effective. Thank you for you help in these difficult times.
