My Students

My students have been extremely affected by the coronavirus pandemic because out of my 20 third grade students this year 14 of them come from Spanish speaking homes and 3 come from a home in which the parents have less than a middle school education. The children are working on some internet assignments as well as packets of work.

My children need structure and someone who can model and teach the material to them through hands on experiences.

My Project

Science is a subject in which children learn best through experiments and hands on activities. With that being said it's difficult to teach them science during this distance learning time.

With this kit I can cover all third grade science standards through virtual hands on activities.

I can use these materials to make videos to help my children learn the science standards they need to know for third grade. The children then can better understand the material and do some hands on activities for that standard at their home during this time.
