Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom was deeply affected by the Coronavirus. I teach in inner-city Los Angeles and from one day to another, we were out of school and stuck at home!

My young students are eager to learn from home.

It warms my heart to see my students through video and they are excited to see me too. I want to provide my students with a quality and engaging distance learning education.

My Project

This project will provide Distance Learning resources bags for each child in my Kindergarten class. The families at my school will need these resources to help their children become successful academically in school. My students are eager to learn and your donations will help me provide the tools they need to learn.

Each child will receive a dry erase board, 2 dry erase markers, 2 pencils, one eraser, and a set of crayons all in a plastic tote bag with reusable worksheets in plastic sheet protectors.

These amazing tools will assist my students with their remote learning experiences at home.
