Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a inclusion classroom which comprises of nine to eleven year old female and male students. I team teach with one partner. I teach Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. My students are energetic and eager to learn which makes my job fun and rewarding.

The students are creative individuals whom like to find innovative methods to solve problems.

They like to work in teams and use technology to increase their collaborative learning. They are great individuals who have great futures ahead of them.

My Project

I have created this project because many of my students are struggling with abstract mathematical concepts. These materials will give my student concrete representations of abstract concepts which will help them as they learn through distance learning. These are materials that enable them to use these concepts in fun and engaging games and puzzles that their entire family can enjoy. As fourth graders during this pandemic I want to give my scholars the best advantage they can have. These materials will enable me to provide a secondary source that will allow them to to be successful while alleviating their stress.i can create lessons and use these resources as another tool in our breakout sessions.
