This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our dual language students are very bright and outspoken! They strive to work hard every day in both English and Spanish instruction and come from very diverse cultural backgrounds. We love watching them grow into such great independent young learners.

Our students are adventurous learners and love to have fun in their diverse classrooms!

We try to meet our students where they are and take them as far as they can go with what we have available. Help us reach our goal today.

My Project

Teachers all over the country switched over to remote learning almost overnight and did such an amazing job with what we had. As we are approaching the new school year, remote learning will continue for all students in some way, shape, or form. I really want to be prepared to meet students where they are and not have to worry about my camera equipment falling or whether students will remember their floor spots in the classroom.

It is hard to plan for the unknown, but what I do know is that a good document camera and floor spots are a must!

Help me be prepared for this unusual year by supplying our classroom with removable and washable carpet spots and floor tape for our socially distanced classroom spots. Help equip my home with a good quality camera that will be used during video conferences with my students and to record video lessons for online learning.
