This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

It will be my first year teaching and I couldn't be more excited to meet my 1st graders! However, all classrooms have been and will continue to be affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. The upcoming school year will be very different but I want to make it as easy as possible for my future students. As a first year teacher I don't have much and any help is greatly appreciated. I want my first class of 1st graders to enjoy this year by making their life easier in my classroom. Thank you!

All students will have access to their own materials needed to learn so they can remain healthy and safe during the Coronavirus pandemic.

There will be no shared materials thus making learning safe!

My Project

These students depend on a safe place to learn with a support system in place. As a 1st grade teacher it is my job to provide a safe and positive learning experience!

The seat pouches will help every single student be able to keep their materials in their own space which will limit the spread of germs and help us stay safe and healthy while following guidelines 6 feet apart.

The pencil boxes will contain individual classroom supplies (crayons, pencils, glue sticks, etc).

Wipes will be needed to clean materials and students area.
