I teach students with special needs and general education students inside the regular education classroom. My classroom is a very active place! My students are very eager and enthusiastic to find out how, what, and why things work the way they do. The disabilities they face do not hold them back.
Students in my class learn best with hands-on projects that involve an integrated curriculum.
They love science, mathematics, and art, so we try to blend these as much as possible. My students love learning.
Using a STEAM approach in the classroom helps motivate students with activities that they truly enjoy while developing academic skills.
My students love to learn and are excited to do new things! They are always on the move and love lessons that keep them active and engaged. They love to be creative and use that creativity to make new things!
My Project
In these unusual times, we do not know whether we will be teaching in a school or over distance learning. I want to be prepared for our students and would like the ability to make learning videos that they can use to learn at home. The video camera, memory card, tripod, and adapter will give us everything we need to start making videos and instantly uploading them to our computer. I want to provide the best opportunities for our students whether they are at home or here at school and this project will help us do just that.
