My Students

I am tasked with the pleasure of teaching enthusiastic, third-grade students in all subject areas FROM HOME. These students are curious, intelligent, and creative beyond all measure but teaching from home has made things challenging. They attend a visual and performing arts magnet school in Los Angeles. Since our school is an arts magnet, we try to integrate art in all forms into as many subject areas as possible. The students at this school come from various backgrounds with various life experiences. Funding for some of our materials is difficult to come by. I appreciate you coming to our page and would appreciate any​ support you could give.

My Project

I am in need of some materials that will make it possible for me to teach students from a distance. Having a document camera, printer ink, flashcards, and letter tiles will help me make small group instruction fun and meaningful while we wait until we can return to our classroom. I have been teaching online for several months now and am aware that they need to be engaged with new and fun games and activities to make the learning happen naturally. A document camera connected to my computer will allow me to present things in an interactive way.
