Display That Art!

Help me give my students a way to display their artwork in our senior exhibition. More than ever, students have signed up to take the IB art course and getting these trifold display screens is critical.

My Students

Our school is a public magnet school. Students travel from all over town to attend our school. We are not without our struggles, especially when it comes to the school budget. Despite everything, though, our students achieve. Over 90% go on to college; 10% get full scholarships. Our students are diverse and revel in their differences. Groups of friends are multicultural. They are engaged and very bright. These great kids give me hope for the future. Teaching my students is so rewarding. I strive to help them become more creative.

As one of the top schools in the city, our students overcome many obstacles to reach their educational goals.

Our school is an IB school and the International Baccalaureate program prepares our students for college better than any other curriculum! As part of the IB art program, students exhibit artwork they produced in the 2 year course. Student art evolves over their 2 years with me. As our program grows, we need a way to display more and more work. I started with 4 IB students and have about 60 now. In IB, art students gain mastery in art techniques and their displayed work has a lot of personal meaning.

My Project

Our internationally themed high school instituted IB art 4 years ago and I had 4 students. This year, my art program has close to 60 students. This is tremendous. At the end of their time in IB art, students must exhibit their artwork. Due to the large number of students who need to exhibit their art in the spring, we need more display space.

The trifold accordion screens I picked out will allow us to turn any classroom into an art gallery.

Students will have more space to hang their work which we photograph and submit for assessment. Please help.
