My Project

This is the start of my 25th year teaching. For the first time in my career I am teaching what I went to College for, Early Childhood Education! I am so very excited about this year. However, I am basically building a new classroom as only some things were purchased by my school to get me started. I have yet to find out out what the budget is and have already spent hundreds of dollars. One center in my room that I need to build on is the dramatic play center.

Dramatic play is essential in a 3K classroom.

It enables the development of imitation and imagination skills for the students. It allows them to come up with creative problem solving skills and fosters conflict resolution while they play and learn alongside their peers.

I would love to give my cuties, who are so eager to learn and create lifelong friendships, everything I possibly can to help them learn and grow, including dramatic play sets, dolls, and storage containers for organization. Thank you so very much for your consideration in funding my project.
