My Project

It is important that my students are engaged and excited about learning! They want to be in school because they want to learn so they can be successful in life.

I want to provide my students with quality texts to help improve their academic skills.

Scholastic News is a perfect companion to core curriculum in the classroom. The magazine provides students with information about current events which help them become informed citizens. In the past, my students read articles that gave 5 facts about climbing Mt. Everest, new artifacts from an ancient shipwreck found off the coast of Greece, how you may be fined if you text while crossing the street in Hawaii, and new clues about how the Great Pyramid in Egypt was built. Scholastic News will provide compelling articles about current events in the world around us.
