This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember writing a paper and you kept on using the same words over and over again? Well my students need a variety of thesaurus to express themselves as they write their essays.
I teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade ESE language arts.
All of my students have a disability (specific learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD, Asperges syndrome and others), but do not let their labels fool you! If you were to walk into my classroom on any given day you would find students working together on a project, finding information on a computer, learning as a group or reading a book. Despite have a disability my students are more than capable to learn anything they put their minds to. They might need a little extra time and some help, but they can reach any goal they choose!
My Project
Imagine how you feel when you are unable to express yourself. Well, sometimes my students find themselves using the same words over and over again. These intermediate and collegiate thesaurus's along with the students paerback thesaurus will help them out of their word rut by discovering new words they can use in their essays.
Will you help students discover new words to use when they write an essay?
These thesaurus will open the door for students to uncover thousands of words. Imagine how students will feel when they finally have the right tools to express themselves.
