Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most of my students in Corona Queens are Hispanics and most of the families are have challenges economically and financially. Compounding this, about 3 quarter have special learning challenges and are placed in ICT's that require academic help and modifications. The pandemic only makes the problem worst. However, despite the challenges that my students face, everyone has shown positive interest, curiosity and scientific inclination. They like to participate in scientific investigation and STEM activities. Help them excel in understanding and exploring different sources of energy and who knows, they might discover a new way of harnessing energy that's environmentally friendly!

My Project

Help us spark and grow our young scientific mind into searching for a better alternative source of energy! First, let them enjoy and appreciate how energy can power up an engine! To be able to experience and see real world examples of different sources of energy is an effective way of inspiring! Specifically, they will be able to appreciate that cars can be run by other sources of energy other than gas or conventional fuel. In today's education, we must inspire our students so that they will have the interest to invent materials that are not only helpful but earth friendly!
