My Project

My second graders need books. We are in a brand new school that is very small does not have a library. Everyday students are given 30 minutes to go on a reading adventure, but we need more books.

My students need books that can take them to new places, teach them new ideas, and show them the world.

Second graders are naturally curious and want to know about the world. Providing them an opportunity to read every single day sets them up for reading success and academic achievement. Having a variety of good reading material is essential for building positive reading habits and setting them up for success.
