Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I teach an Animal Sciences class for grades 10-12 that has about 40 students. In this class, students learn comparative anatomy and physiology of domestic animals. Because I teach in an urban school, we are limited to in-class experiences. Our school has very limited field trips, so the students are unable to go outside of the school to see domestic animals. Students need a more hands-on approach to the information. Pictures and drawings are very limited. In order to help students get this experience, I need disarticulated cat skeletons. This will help them understand the skeletal system of the cat. I am asking for two disarticulated cat skeleton. This will help them see and feel the cat bones. It will also help them learn cat skeleton anatomy by reassembling the cat skeleton themselves.
