Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students from Indiana are part of an amazing set of kids. They are entering a 2nd grade classroom where there will be many different cultures and backgrounds.

I want my classroom to feel like a family and they know they will be loved, the second they step into my classroom!

My students are excited and eager to come to class every day!

My Project

In our new English curriculum, our second unit is all about fossils and dinosaurs! All three 2nd Grade teachers want our students to have a real and hands-on experience being a paleontologist (well... as close as we can.)

The materials in this project will give the students a fun and engaging hands-on experience!

These materials will enhance the students learning and will keep the students genuinely interested in what we are learning in this unit. All three 2nd Grade classrooms would benefit from this project by being able to host a "Paleontologist Day" where the students and teachers would be able to dress up and put what we are learning to practice.
