Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the Montessori classroom, guides track student progress, include notes about student work, plan ahead, and create reports that allow academic staff and families to follow the child's progress through their Montessori education.

The ability to have a tablet in each of our Montessori Elementary classrooms will allow us to not only record student progress through data and pictures, but connect families to our classroom.

Not only will these tablets be an amazing asset to the guides, but students will enjoy being able to review their progress and see pictures as they grow in their learning. When students have ownership of their education, their growth is that much more valuable. Seeing their progress will also build confidence.

Families will be able to get a glimpse into their student's day, narrowing the gap between home and school.
