My Students

I am a blended kindergarten and first grade special/general education teacher. The blended learning model requires me to teach not only in person but also online. My students are learning how to read and write both in and out of the classroom. I am constantly trying to find ways to keep them motivated and encouraged to learn when they are in the classroom and at home.

My Project

This year I am teaching through a blended learning model for both grades K and 1. The days my students are not in the classroom I am teaching them remotely. A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help support the educational resources that my students need in order to succeed when they are at home and in the classroom. When I teach in person and remote I am creating slides, worksheets and other activities for not only my general education students but also my special education students. Many of them have fallen behind from the pandemic and it is up to me to keep them engaged daily. The resources provided on Teachers Pay Teachers are fun and interactive.
