My Students

Our classroom community includes 20 wonderful second graders who live in a college town in central Pennsylvania. Our class this year is learning remotely full time. My students are a diverse set of learners that love reading.

We are desperately in need of an engaging variety of sources of activities and learning tools to help in this model.

My Project

Brainpop Jr. and Flocabulary both have a wide variety of videos, games, and activities that would help provide some much needed variety to my teaching. My students are learning completely remotely this school year, and these sites would give the kids another way to experience a little variety in how they receive their instruction.

Students benefit from seeing things presented in different ways!

Access to these two tried and true sites would expand my toolbox, and allow me to keep my remote students engaged during this very different and difficult school year!
