Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Aspirantes con Orgullo! My students are sixth-graders at a bilingual charter school. Students receive education in both English and in Spanish, so by the time they move onto high school, they will be fully bilingual. We are a Title I school, with 90% of our students coming from low-income families.

Many of our students have not had the opportunity to really explore and flourish in the area of math.

My goal, as a math teacher, is to allow my students to make a meaningful connection with each topic I present to them through small groups, videos, presentations, stations, etc.

Seeing my students enjoy learning about the world around them and making connections brings me such joy and pleasure! To be able to provide my students with more supplies to further their love for learning and math would mean a great deal.

My Project

By funding this project, it will allow me the opportunity to purchase engaging lessons and activities for my students. The $100 gift card from TeachersPayTeachers will make a difference in my students' learning by being about to provide them with engaging lessons to enhance their virtual learning experience.

Virtual learning is challenging for all.

This resource will allow me to save time developing engaging plans in order to spend more time enhancing students knowledge. Teachers Pay Teachers has many wonderful resources, created by educators, that will make the virtual learning experience engaging for my students.
