Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students are trying to distance learn without proper wifi connections and most of them are using DOE issued iPads. My students and I are missing each other’s presence and accessibility that the classroom offered us each day.

Although we make daily efforts to talk on the phone and conduct Google Meets, we are missing the necessary face to face and hands on experience of attending school.

My Project

These materials will provide my students with exciting new resources to create an online portfolio for their Acrostic Poems, Haikus and other original poetry. Sharing creations such as poetry online is extremely inspirational and therapeutic during our phase of distance learning.

This gift card will grant me access to professionally designed online resources for poetry on Teachers Pay Teachers.

Allowing my students to create and organize their works in a unique digital manner will give them the creative freedom to present and express their art. In addition, they will have an excellent portfolio at their finger tips to share with the world.
