This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My charter high school art students are bussed from everywhere in Broward County. Many of these budding artists hail from low income households, where access to computers, tablets and other digital devices my sometimes be difficult or non existent. My goal is for my students to develop fundamental art skills and explore the visual culture that surrounds us, both in our day to day lives and through our participation as digital citizens. Your donation of five tablets will enable my students to participate in digital activities in our class, as they share in virtual discussions, post artwork on the internet, and use the tablets to complete digital coursework.
