Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are ambitious and creative kiddos. Our school has a diverse group of kids, from low income to military households. My students work hard and are determined to be successful. Adjusting to distant learning has been a challenge for my students and myself; however, we are making it work. We are determined to finish off the school with a bang.

My Project

Working from home was not something I ever thought I'd be doing. I am sure that my students never imaged they'd be learning from home. I use Nearpod, and Flipgrid to ensure that my students are engaged in their learning. The computer that I have is an oldie and takes forever to load pages, assignments, and much more.

This project will provide me with an amazing new laptop which will allow me to connect with my students and assist them during their remote learning with no problem.

I can't wait to connect with my students and not have to worry about whether my page will load or not.
