Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I will be working with some spunky fourth-grade students who have a lot of energy. The bulk of my students are of Hispanic and Asian decent and I love the culture they bring to our classroom and school community. Also, I work with students with special needs as well as English Language Learners. My students are visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners. My current students enjoy reading graphic novels, making videos on Tik Tok and spend a lot of time on Roblox.

My students enjoy learning from each other and loving sharing their personal experiences.

They help each other and are encouraged to learn from each other. Fourth grade is an important year for my students because it determines what middle school they will go to. You can bet these students will be working hard this year.

My Project

Teachers pay teachers have amazing resources created by other educators which is great for the digital learning times we are in. Students will be able to use the files from home and collaborate on google classroom. Teacher pay teachers has great math, ELA and social emotional learning tools. This year are really focusing on Social Emotional Learning to really help students to cope with all the events that is going on in the world. We are giving students the opportunity to express their emotions and talk about how they are coping with everything that is going on around them.
