My Students

My students are a diverse group of first, second and fourth grade students. They all bring excitement and curiosity into our project based learning activities. Their insights, questions and observation spur our investigations to increasingly meaningful levels.

My students are invested in their learning and are eager to participate in activities where they can " show what they know".

Our school is a barrier- free school that is home to over 1500 students with over 70 languages spoken. It is a very warm school with an active and supportive parent body. It is a wonderful place to learn - for both students and staff!

My Project

I facilitate project based learning with a focus on science and social studies with first, second and fourth grade students. My students conduct research and explore many possibilities as they investigate different topics throughout the school year.

Creating digital documents as they conduct their research will provide my students with a vital tool to record keeping and to creating a fabulous final presentation.

Digital cameras will help them focus on specific findings as they conduct their investigation. Moreover, it will offer them the means to organize their results into a dazzling, digital presentation.

Providing digital cameras to my students will enhance their academic accountability. As they view their work, their ability to self-assess their work will improve and the level of their work will improve. I look forward to bringing digital cameras to my students.
